Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology - ECM

As a further development of its top level editorial activities, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology has also become a CME recognised provider for the Italian Ministry of Health, and has focused its attention on the organization of national and international residential courses in rheumatology, obtaining both national and European credits (UEMS).

Courses organized by Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology since 2005:

Every two years

Under the auspices of EULAR (European League against Rheumatism), and aimed at young rheumatologists under 40 years of age, the course has been designed to provide comprehensive intensive training on various aspects of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
The following editions have been organized in Pisa, Italy:

Since 2006: National Course for Research Nurses in Rheumatology

Residential national course for nurses involved with clinical research in rheumatology, organized bi-annually in collaboration with Prof. Walter Grassi (Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy).

Every year

Since 2006: Theoretical-Practical Course on Rare Diseases in Rheumatology "Alessandro Lupoli"

Residential national course for fellows attending the last year of the Specialty School in Rheumatology.

Since 2009: Residential Course on Musculoskeletal ultrasound

Residential course for young rheumatologists, offering an intensive individualized training with a tutor for every 3 participants to guarantee a proper interaction between teacher and learner.
